The guitar boasts a hand-carved solid spruce top, which contributes to its resonant tone, while the back and sides are made from highly figured maple, adding both visual appeal and structural integrity. The natural finish enhances the beauty of the wood, giving the guitar a timeless, elegant look. There is some overspray to note, but it doesn’t diminish this instrument’s striking beauty.

The L-5CESN’s neck is made from 3 pieces of figured maple, laminated alongside two thin pieces of Walnut. The neck is topped with an ebony fretboard that features deluxe 5-ply binding and mother-of-pearl block inlays. The attention to detail in the construction of the neck, combined with a professional neck reset, ensures that the guitar plays smoothly with perfect intonation and a comfortable feel.
